I am an avid protein shake maker and this blender changed my life. I read a few reviews on epinions about it and bought mine to find it is EXACTLY as amazing as people claim.

DESIGN
It doesn't get simpler than "High," "Low," or "Off." Why do other blenders offer a dozen speed choices that nobody uses? You only need one or two. The stainless steel base doesn't scratch and looks great with modern appliances. The classic clover glass container is also great looking in a modern kitchen. I wrap the cord around the base when it's not in use.

FUNCTION
Follow the directions on this one by adding the ice last after all other ingredients. It makes a big difference. I put water, protein powder, fruit, then nice into mince. I blend on low every time. I don't think I've ever used the high option. You can add more water while blending by removing a plastic cup in the top, if need be. Within a few minutes, the ice and ingredients are blended down to a fine dust making a perfect shake. It's unreal, you have to try it!

LONGEVITY
I have had this blender for over a year and never had a single problem with it. It cleans easily, the carafe and cover go in the dishwasher, and it doesn't scratch.
