Whirlpool LTE5243D Top Load Stacked Washer / Dryer

i purchased a condo two years ago with this unit already installed new.  It is just my little boy and me in the place so i didnt think that washing laundry in this unit would be such an issue but i was wrong!  while it was under warrenty, the rocker arm holding up the washer basket broke 2x.  i do not overload the unit, i at most put the equivalent to two medium size towels in it on average.  we are about to approach our two year mark with this thing next month and the rocker arm is breaking again.  this time it isnt under warranty and will cost more than $400 to fix.  i have had nothing but problems out of this unit and it shrinks all of my clothes, so i dont even use the dryer that often.  not to mention that the washer is a pain to get laundry in and out of.  if you are contemplating buying this unit i would highly suggest something else more energy efficient, reliable, and quieter.
