This is a GREAT washer!

I am pleased to write a glowing review of my Whirlpool Duet 9200 front-load washer.  I previously wrote a scathing review on an LG washer and was encouraged to write a review of it's replacement.  In writing this review, I come from a different point of view since I first had a bad experience with another brand. When a review is a good one, there isn't a whole lot to say except that I find this washer to be EASY to use and it does a good job cleaning and rinsing my clothes.
I have now had this washer over 8 months and I don't have the first complaint with it.  The first load I washed in my Whirlpool was a big load of whites which came out noticeably cleaner and it did it in the alloted cycle time without having to run multiple cycles like I did with the LG.  I always use the "extra rinse" button and will occasionally run an extra "rinse and spin" when a load is larger than normal or especially dirty when I have had to use more than the normal amount of soap.  Seldom is anything more ever necessary. I am now experiencing the water savings promised with front load machines.  I am so pleased with my Whirlpool that when my son was shopping to buy his first washer and dryer set, I encouraged him to buy this set and he has been pleased with it as well.
Front load washers do require some routine maintenance not required by top loaders, but it's nothing difficult and mainly just boils down to making sure the interior can dry out occasionally or "breathe." It is important to remember to run the "clean washer" cycle about once a month with bleach or a cleaner tablet and leave the door ajar when it's not in use.  I also remove the soap drawer periodically and wipe it out inside to allow it to dry out especially if I am not going to be using the washer for a few days or if I am going on a trip. 
An inherent problem with front load washers is that extremely large loads tend to get twisted and tangled and this brand is no different.  To minimize this problem, I no longer stuff my washer to its full capacity, instead I'll do two loads with better results.  
Overall, I highly recommend the Whirlpool Duet 9200.  It was described to me by the salesman at Lowe's as the "workhorse" and I believe it.  Also, my experience with Lowe's was AWESOME!!  RUN the other way from Home Depot, but Lowe's is customer oriented and I would return there anytime to buy another appliance.
