Author's Review

With kids and several other hobbies. I do not have lots of cash to spend on home theater. However when the local Tweeter store went out of business, I decided to buy a large set of speakers that I probably needed for years because my plasma TV and music
system did not sound as good as the system looked. I assume it was because the room was too large for the small speakers. So I
got a pair of Polk LSI 15's and connected them to my home theater. The polks are not efficent speakers and apparently my amp was too small because these awsome (both reviewa and in store) sounding speakers could not play loud at all. So off to the store to buy a receiver to go with my impulse purchase speakers (did not want to spend much!) Hooked this very inexpensive receiver up and the room sounds like a real theater. This receiver has the power to blast my 5.1 set up and play my deck speakers (wife never turns them up too loud) at the same time. Would recommend this receiver to anyone that is willing to route the TV thru optical cable because it does not have HDMI. I found a set up that works great without spending for an HDMI receiver.
