Finally, a machine that works!
Date of Review: Jan 4, 2009
This is my first Zo but my 3rd bread machine. The first one (Westbend) was great but died after about a year and was not at all supported by the manufacturer. The 2nd (B&D) didn't develop the gluten properly in the kneading phase and the bread texture was not pleasant. The Zo, on the other hand does everything well and better. I've been making at least 1 loaf a week with it for the past 4 months and it has never let me down. I have even experimented with some different flours like Triticale and Ezekiel blends and it doesn't skip a beat. Great bread every time. The recipe book that come with is great and there are additional recipes on the manufacturer's website. I've even made cakes including the Japanese custard cake and was impressed with the results. Just set it and forget it until the house fills with the wonderful aroma of home made bread!
