Definitely a return

I just plopped down $100 for these at Radio Shack and they are going right back there. I wish stores would let you try out headphones in store instead of going through this exchange game. These things have three glaring problems.

First, the sound is tinny unless they are completely down your ear canal (i.e. if you push them in and hold them then, yes, they sound pretty good, but not $100 good); once you let go, the lack of pressure ruins the sound. The bass was terrible; I put on a simple rap song (Gangsta's Paradise) and the bass sounded like that you'd get from a blown speaker. I had to adjust the bass to -5, which only made it more tinny.

Second, I defy anyone to put on the smaller ear buds. The set comes with six pairs to custom fit, and I gave up trying to get the smaller two on. I spent 20 minutes, tried numerous tricks, and then just said, "To h-ll with it."

I shouldn't have to go through this for $100 ear buds!
