Quiet, Simple and Timeless: The Allure II QS230 is An Excellent Choice

Pros: Sleek, whisper quiet, amazing recessed halogen lights, functional, well designed and constructed, relatively inexpensive.
Cons: Heavy.  Professional installation may be required.
The Bottom Line: Marrying timeless simplicity of design with reliable, quiet, and excellent performance, the Broan-NuTone Allure II QS230 Kitchen Hood is hard to beat.

Pros: Good looks; powerful exhaust performance and it's so quiet
Cons: Admits cold drafts under some wind conditions

You can't do better, for the money

Pros: Stainless steel designed without hard-to-clean spots.
Cons: Can't think of any.
The Bottom Line: Buy it. You won't find anything better except by spending at least 1/3 more.
