Pros: Sharp photos, compact size, lightweight
Cons: Prints are slightly darker overall, no card reader or onboard controls, no LCD
The Bottom Line: If you really like Canon & quality, get it. If you like features & compatibility, don't get it. If you like a "not-the-highest-or-lowest" cost for thermal prints, get it.

Pros: The excellent photo quality; Wireless technology; LCD preview; No paper jams
Cons: Slow speed; LCD screen is small and without touch commands

Pros: Wireless convenience. Pro quality of the photo printer and the negative/slide scanner.
Cons: Hard to find in local stores. No FAX.
The Bottom Line: The Canon MP980 is a top of the line addition to anyone who wants good scanning capabilities and excellent photo printing with the added convenience of being wireless.
