The Celica returns for the new model year with only minor detail changes. The front grille opening now has a new mesh screen design. Available models continue as GT and GTS. The GT features a 140-hp four-cylinder engine, while the GTS boasts a 180-hp four-cylinder with a standard six-speed manual transmission. An electronically controlled four-speed automatic is optional on both models. The Action Package, available on both models, includes a sport front bumper, rocker panels, aero rear bumper, and a rear wing. A leather interior and 17-inch alloy wheels are GTS-exclusive options. A four-wheel anti-lock braking system continues to be an extra-cost option on both GT and GTS models, as does side-impact airbags. Less

For half a century, over 4 million Land Cruisers have traversed paths from the Dead Sea to the Himalayas. For 2006 it achieves another elevation: Its new available height control adjustment raises and lowers the Land Cruiser up to 2.8 inches for greater ground clearance. Sure, its available Bluetooth® [2] hands-free technology, DVD entertainment and a sumptuous interior have softened its edges. But its all-new VVT-i V8 will remind you of why Land Cruiser is a legend throughout the world. Less

Pros: 6-speed gear box, A boat load of options, Good fuel economy, Superior handling
Cons: Toyota could have pumped out more power from this engine, Price.
The Bottom Line: While not as powerful as I would like my sports car to be, the Toyota Celica GT-S does represent a good value.

Review: First introduced in 2000, the current generation Celica was, and still is a very fun car to drive. With the Supra out of production in the U.S since 1998, Toyota relies on the Celica to be the flagship in their performance biased category...
